The price of a Kuwaiti oil barrel increased by 50 cents to reach 86.87 dollars in trading on Monday, compared to 86.37 dollars in trading last Thursday, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

In global markets, Brent crude fell 96 cents to $84.58 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude fell 94 cents to $79.74, reports Al-Rai daily quoting KUNA.
