The Kuwait National Petroleum Company said in a statement that a number of production units belonging to the Mina Abdullah refinery were subjected to a sudden power outage Saturday evening, which led to the temporary closure of these units.
The company noted that work is underway to restart these units after restoring power supply noting that production and export operations were not affected as a result of this interruption and continued normal work, reports a local Arabic daily.
