The Brazilian embassy held a concert featuring popular Brazilian saxophone player Leo Gandelman at the Yarmouk Cultural Center, Kuwait City on 10 April. The performance joins the ranks of cultural concerts held annually by the Embassy of Brazil in Kuwait, which has featured great performers from the Brazilian music scene such as Reco do Bandolim, Grupo Choro Livre and Francis & Olívia Hime.

Gandelman, ably assisted by his group, performed some compositions of his own in addition to a few sessions featuring music from popular Brazilian music icons including Luiz Bonfá, Antonio Maria, Carlos Lyra, Geraldo Vandré, Edu Lobo, and Vinícius de Morais.

One among the most celebrated Brazilian musicians, the saxophonist Leo Gandelman has achieved popularity for his youthful and contemporary approach to music.

He has mass appeal with fans of Brazilian popular music, and enchanted others with his excellence and virtuosity in classical music.
