The Assistant Undersecretary for Drug and Food Control Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Badr said that the Ministry has approved the emergency use of the “Pfizer – Biontech” vaccine against Coronavirus.
The quantity expected to arrive in the first phase of Pfizer vaccines will arrive by the end of December in Kuwait, reports Al Qabas quoting informed sources.
The sources told the daily that the ministry is working to accelerate the arrival of the vaccine within a shorter period of time, to ensure that citizens and residents benefit from it.
The link provided by the Ministry of Health to record the data of those wishing to book a prior appointment to receive vaccinations for Covid-19 is receiving a large number of requests.
Sources said the requests will be sorted according to the priorities and the target groups within the ministry’s plans in its early stages to grant Corona vaccines.
