The Ministry of Health has sent SMSs to people to obtain the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine of the coronavirus as of Wednesday (tomorrow), the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabah said Tuesday.

The messages include the place and time of vaccination, he added, noting that the ministry get ready over the past days to prepare the centers of vaccination, the lists and medical teams to provide the doses to the targeted groups.

Al-Sanad stated that the vaccination process would continue at health centers during the coming days, elaborating that these centers will be working from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Vaccination also will be available at the Kuwait International Fairground from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m, in addition to Sheikh Jaber Bridge’s center from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., he said.

Doses will be further available at some other centers and institutions, he pointed out. He urged both citizens and expats to download “Immune” app to help them get a certificate to use it when required by the concerned bodies as soon as they receive the second jab.
