The government decided to end the partial curfew on the first day of Eid, more than two months after the decision to impose a second partial curfew in Kuwait was passed on March 6, Al Qabas daily reported.

The council will also shortly adopt a variety of decisions, including the opening of most activities and restaurants, except for hookah cafes.

The Corona Committee had earlier submitted its recommendations to the Council of Ministers, with one of the main recommendations being the end to the curfew imposed after the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country, and the number of those vaccinated having exceeded one and a half million doses.

The committee recommended opening all types of restaurants under some precautionary health regulations, and noted that in the current situation it is not possible to prevent non-vaccinated people from entering them until 60% of the public have been vaccinated including children.
