The National Assembly approved nine letters on different topics in it a session on Tuesday. Among the topics was a letter from head of the parliamentary committee on health and social affairs MP Talal AlJalal, requesting extension of the committee’s work period to submit a report on the safety of using 5G network, regarding people and the environment.
Also, head of the parliamentary committee for youth and sport MP Nabeel AlFadhil requested extension to investigate monetary and administrative violations, to submit the final report by end of August.
The assembly also approved a letter from MP Yousef AlFadhala, where he called on the Cabinet to grant rewards not only for those who worked in the frontlines to fight the coronavirus, but for everyone who worked during this crisis.
The other letters included tasking the parliamentary committee on human resources with presenting a report on evaluating senior officials and extending work period for internal affairs and defense committee to present a report on traffic.
Moreover, it included the report of legislative and legal committee amendments on work in the oil sector and retasking the public utilities committee with presenting a report on food security within two months.
Meanwhile, the assembly received a letter from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah, thanking Speaker Marzouq AlGhanim and MPs for congratulating His Highness on the success of his surgery.
It also received a letter from His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad AlJaber AlSabah, thanking Speaker and MPs for their Eid greetings for His Highness the Amir.
His Highness Sheikh Nawaf also thanked the Speaker and MPs for sending their greetings for him on Eid AlAdha, in another letter.
