The Public Authority for Manpower said the authority is preparing a list if most professions whose services are needed by Kuwait, to determine a smart mechanism to test them in their home countries, in partnership with Kuwaiti embassies abroad.
The source explained that “the smart test step aims to implement a recruitment mechanism for the benefit of both the workers and the employer, reports a local Arabic daily.
PAM pointed out that the tests for the targeted professions will be divided in two parts — practical and theoretical. The theoretical tests will be conducted in the country of recruitment and the practical after the arrival of the worker in Kuwait. The daily added, PAM has targeted 20 professions.
Moreover, the Society of Engineers has prepared a center for professional tests, to be conducted on 71 different professions in support of workers in the engineering sector.
The daily learned that the KSE has announced its readiness to operate the center upon approval of the plan by the competent government agencies.
