The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has stated that it will soon start building a new social shelter for male expatriates. This new shelter will be similar to the one currently provided to female domestic helpers who have decided to leave their sponsors. The women’s shelter provides residents with psychological, social, legal and health services during their stay.
