The Public Authority for Manpower discussed two memoranda of understanding with representatives of the Embassy of Sierra Leone on the issue of the recruitment of workers from that country including domestic helpers.

These discussions come within the efforts of the Public Authority for Manpower to open channels for recruiting workers from new countries and to increase the number of countries from which Kuwait wish to attracts workers in the private and domestic sectors, reports a local Arabic daily.

The authority said in a press statement: “At the conclusion of the meeting, the final versions are ready for signature by both parties.”
