In implementation of the decisions of the Council of Ministers, issued recently, regarding the strictness in the application of health and preventive measures, and the temporary suspension of holding social events in closed spaces of all kinds, and emphasizing on workers and visitors to salons, barber shops, and health clubs, the necessity of completing immunization against the “Corona” virus, the women’s team assigned by the Council of Ministers comprising members from the Public Authority for Manpower, the Kuwait Municipality, and the Ministry of Commerce, conducted field tours to hotels in the six governorates, especially restaurants and attached halls to determine the extent of their commitment to the aforementioned decisions, especially preventing the establishment of social events in various its types.

In a statement to Al-Jarida on the sidelines of a tour of the Millennium Hotel and Conference Center in the Salmiya area, Abdul-Malik explained that the visits of the women’s inspection team included, during the last period, all hotels located in all governorates, to ensure the closure of social event halls, in addition to the extent of commitment to health requirements, especially taking the temperature before entering, wearing face masks, adhering to social distancing and preventing gatherings, stressing the seriousness of the relevant government agencies in implementing the decisions of the Council of Ministers.

A member of the women’s inspection team in the Public Authority for Manpower, Eng. Fatima Abdul-Malik, said various social events which are published in the social media are being monitored, and women’s teams have the right to visit them and ensure that they adhere to health requirements.

She stressed that there is wide cooperation and commitment by hotel officials to fulfilling health requirements and closing event halls.

She indicated the most prominent health requirements that are required to be applied within the women’s activities are in places such as salons, health clubs, beauty parlors, tailoring shops, and others.
