The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) said it is keen to increase the percentage of Kuwaiti employees in the private sector schools and educational institutes in line with their labor needs, reports Al-Jarida newspaper.

PAM Deputy Director for National Labor Sector Affairs, Sultan Al-Shaalani, said during a meeting Thursday, with Noura Al-Ghanim, Head of the Federation of Private Schools & Cultural Institutes that the aim of the meeting was to identify areas in the private sector educational institutes that can be filled by national labor force and work to overcome obstacles, if any, that may hinder their employment.

During the meeting Al-Shaalani also looked for ways of coordinating efforts with the Federation members and all concerned authorities for the successful employment of the national labor force in line with the Kuwaitization policy.

For her part, Al-Ghanim affirmed the Federation constantly endeavors to employ Kuwaitis in the Arabic and English private schools.
