The Public Authority for Manpower has identified the reasons that lead to the forfeiture of the right of a Kuwaiti for allowance and employment insurance.
The sources told a local Arabic daily that this happens when an individual fails to inform when he resigns from a government or private sector job for a year or more, and that he is a recent graduate whose registration in the Civil Service Commission has not exceeded 6 months, in addition to his non-compliance with the conditions of disbursement, which is nomination to work in a government agency, completion of studies and registration in training program, and receiving aid from social affairs.
PAM also limits the suspension of unemployment insurance payments for 3 reasons — 6 months have passed since the date of resignation from the private sector, and the work period registered in social insurance is less than 6 months, in addition to failure to comply with the periodic review
