The Public Authority for Manpower confirmed the continuation of the disbursement of national labor support for conscripts, in implementation of the decision to continue disbursing national labor support to those who are eligible for the national military service.
The Deputy Director-General of the Authority for National Manpower Affairs Abdullah Al-Mutawatah said in a press statement that the beneficiaries of the decision are those currently enrolled in the national military service for whom the support of national manpower has continued to be paid until the date of their joining the service, in addition to the citizens who are eligible for support after the decision was published, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Al-Mutawatah explained that the Cabinet’s decision to continue disbursing support to those who are enrolled in the national military service was issued based on the commission’s proposal and after coordination with the National Military Service Authority which has the approval of the Council of Ministers.
It is noteworthy that Cabinet Resolution No. 95 of 2022 amending its Resolution No. 391 of 2001 related to disbursing national labor support to workers in non-governmental entities is to replace the text of Article 9 of the last decision to allow the continuation of the disbursement of national labor support in case of joining the mandatory or reserve national service.
