Informed sources in the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) reaffirmed with the launch of the new online system from 12 January, the decision not to renew the visas for those who have reached the age of 60 and having a high school diploma and below is in force. There is no validity to what is being circulated regarding the reconsideration of the decision, stressing that the decision has become effective since 1 January, Al Anba reported.
PAM has also appealed to the representatives of companies and other entities, who are authorized signatories to quickly register their online signature before 12 January, when work will be shifted to the new online systems. This is to ensure all work procedures are done online once the system launches on 12 January, which will be automatic so as to not disrupt private work procedures in institutions and companies. Once the representatives of the companies register the online signature through the forms available on PAM’s website, they will obtain new file numbers and complete their transactions.
