Pakistan Women’s Forum Kuwait Jointly organized a voluntary campaign to clean the beach, with the participation of the Green Hands Environmental Team Kuwait.
Members from Both Teams participated actively in the campaign keeping in mind social distancing, and to adhere to the requirements and guidelines of the Ministry of Health, related to the prevention of the COVID-19, including the wearing of face masks, gloves and other related procedures.
Pakistan Women’s Forum Kuwait Patron & Wife of Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, Mrs. Ambreen Mustafa, was the Chief Guest along with Third Secretary of Pakistan Embassy in Kuwait, Tehreem Ilyas. Dr. Samia Al Saidan President Green Hands Environmental Team, Mrs. Nighat Tariq Vice President PWF & Mrs. Romina Sarwar Advisory PWF greeted and welcomed the Guests. Dr. Samia Al Saidan Delivered the Lecture on the Occasion of International Volunteers Day to the audience and encouraged them to be a part of healthy activities to save & Keep the Environment Clean & Green. Mrs. Sabiha Arain, a well-known figure in Pakistani Community, emphasis on youth and females to play their roles in society to keep environment and society Neat & Clean.
Mrs. Ambreen Mustafa, in a statement on the sidelines of the campaign said, “PWF is always keen to organize volunteer campaigns, believing in its social responsibility towards the environment and society, and in the importance of devoting a culture of hygiene and volunteer work, spreading positive habits, in addition to enhancing the spirit of cooperation and participation among different societies.”
This Successful campaign was the core result of joint efforts of PWF Team, Green Hands Environmental Team & mostly, efforts exerted by volunteers from all walk of life. PWF team comprises General Secretary Marwa Fayyaz, Treasurer Mrs. Rabia Burney & Media Head Nida Mirza along with other Volunteers from the Organization. President PWF Hina Saleem applauded all the efforts of volunteers and encourage them to avail such kind of opportunities in future.
At the end, Dr. Samia Al Saidan, Nighat Tariq & Mrs. Romina thanked the volunteers for participating in the activity and feeling the social responsibility and emphasis and encourage others for such kind of activities.
