The union of workers in the General Authority for Food and Nutrition organized protested this at the authority’s headquarters in Sabah Al-Salem, to demand approval of allowances for excellent work and promotions to supervisory positions, and demanded that PAFN look into the list of workers’ grievance submitted by the union.
The union’s demands include strengthening of work mechanisms to protect the workers in the authority, and provide them with the basic needs that correspond to the nature of their work, stressing the need to pay attention to the rights and requirements of the workers, reports a local Arabic daily.
