Director for Public Authority for Civil Information, Musaed Al-Asousi, that anyone who has complaints about wrong addresses to inform the Public Prosecution, as the authority has the ability to identify those carrying out any transaction based on its online records, and the authority maintains backup data for any transaction.

Al-Asousi said in a press statement today, Thursday, that the authority reiterates its request to everyone who has a complaint about the information gathering in regard to private housing residents to submit a report to the Public Prosecution, as the authority has stated this frequently, most recently mid-April, “but that no complaint has been received to date.

He stressed that the commission will stand by the complainant in providing the necessary data regarding the details from the visitors or employees, stressing that the commission will not fail to take the necessary legal measures against any participant in the error, whether from the authority’s employees or the homeowners. And that the authority has taken several strict procedures for address change transactions, the last of which is requesting the fingerprint of the owner to prove his presence and confirm the data of the residents on his property in addition to the online service that was launched two years ago which enables the property owners to automatically follow up on any deletion or additional residents on their properties.
