The Public Prosecution has initiated an investigation into the case of a citizen working for the Public Authority for Civil Information receiving money as a bribe to expedite the issuance of civil ID cards.
According to Al-Rai daily several other intermediaries (residents) accused for assisting the employee were interrogated by the Public Prosecution.
The accused citizen has been detained while the others have been released after completing the investigations.
