The Public Authority for Civil Information announced on Saturday the suspension of the in-person review of 14 services, and to instead continue and complete the transactions through the unified government application (Sahel), an Arab daily reported.

The authority confirmed in a press statement that transferring the transactions to an electronic application (Sahel) is a move to back up the country’s goals in achieving digital transformation, which relies on digital services instead of physical attendance. Officials added that the digital transformation will speed up the pace of completion of work for female workers, thus saving time and effort. The move, according to the statement, will be reflected in improving the performance of the services provided by the authority.

Furthermore, the PACI provides more than 20 services available through Sahel intended to facilitate the completion of the transactions of various individuals and entities.
