The Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries has lifted the ban on the import of all types of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day-old chicks and broilers from Pakistan.
The daily added the ban was imposed due to the outbreak of bird flu, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to the authority, all consignments will be subject to veterinary health procedures determined by the authority’s animal health department.
