The Embassy of Kuwait in the Arab Republic of Egypt has provided clarification regarding an incident that arose during one of the courses attended by a group of Kuwaiti officers. The incident involved the display of a map of the Arab world that omitted Kuwait’s international borders.

In response to communication received from the military office in Cairo, the embassy, in collaboration with the military office in Cairo, engaged with officials from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the organizing party of the course to investigate the reasons behind the use of an unofficial map that did not depict Kuwait’s recognized international borders, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The authorities involved explained that the display of this map was an inadvertent mistake made by the lecturer.

Those responsible for the course sincerely apologized to the participants for this error. It is important to emphasize that this error was in no way intended to show disrespect to Kuwait. It underscores that the strong historical and fraternal relations between the governments and peoples of the two countries remain unaltered and impervious to any influence.
