Director of the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Mr. Yousef Al-Fawzan, revealed that official approvals were issued today regarding increasing the operational capacity of Kuwait International Airport (KIA) to 5,000 passengers, Al-Rai daily reported.

Al-Fawzan said that the capacity of departing passengers will be open to all without any restrictions, noting that the airport authorities are keen to implement health measures for all travelers.

Al-Fawzan stated that the operational capacity of flight traffic has now been increased to about 67 incoming and outgoing flights per day.

Al-Fawzan indicated that entry to Kuwait will be for all residents, starting from August 1, provided that they are fully vaccinated with approved vaccines.
