In an effort to meet the growing demands in Kuwait to learn the Turkish language, the Turkish embassy announced the organization of courses via the Internet, for those wishing to learn the language.

The embassy stated on its Twitter account, that the Yunus Emre Institute will organize the training courses, noting that the deadline for submitting applications will be January 31, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The Kuwait University had announced its intention to open institutes to teach the Turkish language to Kuwaitis in the country, in addition to increasing seats for Turkish students, stressing its interest in receiving cultural, literary and artistic activities, and exchanging experiences between universities and educational institutions in Turkey.

The KU noted that the Language Center at Kuwait University provides seats for Turkish students to study Arabic.

This topic was the subject of discussion between the Acting Director of Kuwait University, Professor Dr. Suad Al-Fadhli, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the country, Blessed Nur Sonmez.
