Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 4,503 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 465,331.
The Ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said that 2,243 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of people recovered reached 42,1442, indicating that the percentage of the total recovery cases out of the total injuries amounted to 90.6 percent.
He explained that the ministry recorded one death as a result of the infection, bringing the total number of death registered cases to 2476.
He stated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 26 cases, while the total number of cases that were confirmed to be infected and are still receiving the necessary care reached 41,413, while the total number of cases in (Covid 19) wards reached 277.
Al-Sanad said that the number of swabs that were conducted in the same period amounted to 31,133, bringing the total number of examinations to 64,45278, noting that the percentage of infections for the number of these swabs amounted to 14.5 percent
