The Olympic and Paralympic Village houses some 11,000 athletes for Tokyo 2020 with state-of-the-art facilities.

Located on Tokyo’s waterfront district and surrounded by the sea on three sides, the Village allows stunning views of Tokyo Bay. In the residential part, there are 21 buildings with up to 18 floors, having about 3,800 units, 18,000 beds for the Olympic Village and 8,000 beds for the Paralympic Village. Bed frames are made of cardboard and are 100-percent recyclable.

Opened 24/7, the Dining Hall caters as many as 45,000 meals per day with 700 food options for all preferences from Halal, vegetarian to gluten-free.

Under the theme of being the most innovative Olympic Games, the internal shuttle buses are autonomous with nine bus stops around main facilities.
