Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil, and Acting Minister of Finance, Dr. Saad Al-Barrak, has effectively resolved a prolonged debate concerning promotion of fresh leaders within the oil sector.

The KPC Board of Directors presided over by Dr Al-Barrak, convened and sanctioned resolutions for filling key leadership roles across the oil domain.

Reliable oil sources told Al-Rai daily that these recent appointments adhered strictly to endorsed protocols and regulations, devoid of any external or internal influence.

The decision encompasses the elevation of 20 leaders across both the corporation and its 7 subsidiary oil entities. These individuals are set to take up deputy managing director roles within the corporation, and deputy CEO positions within their respective companies. However, the final endorsement of these appointments hinges upon the approval of the boards of directors within their individual companies and sectors.

Among the newly promoted figures within the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation are Walid Khaled Al-Mukhaizeem, Imad Abdul Rahman Al-Kandari, and Asma Ali Al-Qallaf in the global marketing sector.

Further appointments include Abdullatif Eid Al-Azmi in the administrative affairs sector and Qusay Fahd Al-Sarawi in the internal audit sector.

Within the Kuwait Oil Company, the list of newly promoted members features Amina Rajab Saleh, Fahd Salem Al-Kharqawi, Muhammad Khalifa Al-Abduljalil, and Khaled Muhammad Al-Mulla.

Likewise, the Kuwait National Petroleum Company comprises Tariq Nouri Al-Thuwaini, Kholoud Saad Al-Mutairi, and Bandar Mahdi Al-Qahtani. The Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company saw the addition of Ali Muhammad Al-Ajmi.
