A ministerial decision issued on Monday approved the use of the Kuwait Mobile ID in all government agencies across all sectors in the country. The decision was sanctioned by the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of Social Affairs and Community Development, Fahd Al-Shariaan, and circulated to various state agencies to facilitate and simplify transaction procedures in government offices.
The decision issued based on Cabinet Resolution No. 1008 No. 51 of 2020, which stipulated the use of the civil ID card issued through the Kuwait Mobile ID app must be adhered to and function accordingly.
