Deputy Director-General for Urban Planning and Structural Planning, Eng. Muhammad Al-Zoubi at the Kuwait Municipality has asked the Ministry of Electricity to remove its obstacles which hamper the work of the eastern expansion of the South Saad Al-Abdullah Residential City Project.

Al-Qabas quoting Al-Zoubi, said the Ministry of Electricity was informed by the Municipal Council on October 7, 2021, that approval was given to the Public Authority for Housing Welfare for the expansion of the South Sa’ad Al-Abdullah Residential City project, on ​​an 8.6 square kilometers area.

The Municipality stated that there are still many obstacles that hinder the work at the site, which were noticed during their visit to the site, such as “high-pressure overhead power lines, irrigation water lines, water wells, towers and communication cables.”

Al-Zoubi said he hopes the ministry will soon remove these obstacles to facilitate the handing over of the site to the PAHW
