Pay a visit to New York City to get a taste of the fast paced and vibrant city life. From its diverse cultural facets and energetic social life up to its landmarks, there are so many reasons as to why NYC is a popular tourist attraction in the USA. A big part is the incredibly beautiful high skyscrapers that offer you breathtaking views of the city. It is not even an exaggeration to say that it is a city like no other. In fact, this City has something to offer for a variety of interests.

For a foodie with a very distinctive palate, there is rich and varied cuisine scene, such as fine dining, cozy cafes, sky lounges and fast food. I highly recommend you try their street food scene especially the tasty pretzels and their famous hotdogs. There are some great fast-food joints, or you don’t even need to enter a building, for NYC has some amazing food trucks.

You will always find something to satisfy you whether you crave tacos, hamburgers or bagels.

Broadway shows are the quintessential NYC stop, the Broadway scene hosts a variety of shows based on popular culture that cast their own magic. Hence, they are a must-see for anyone touring NYC.

I have been to live shows based on the stories of the Lion King, Aladdin and Harry Potter , and I’m telling you that the cast and set designs grabs you into the life of these stories, and makes you feel like you’re living the essence of these tales. I was very astonished by the amazingly well performed acts and I can’t wait be a spectator in the audience once again. Furthermore, Broadway theatres have strong roots in the culture of NYC, and present a unique and special experience. There are over 100 Broadway shows you can choose from perusing the online websites.

Movies enthusiasts who would love to see popular sights featured in movies, this city provided the backdrop for scenes from very well-known movies. Some of the incredible sights I was witness to was the Empire State building in King Kong movie, the worthy photo-shoot spot after the iconic dance in the ‘Joker’ movie at Shakespeare’s avenue, the famous zoo in Madagascar animation movie that took place in Central park, the American museum of natural history that comes to life at the ‘Night at the Museum’ trilogy films, or my favorite the scene where Kevin stays in luxury at the Plaza hotel located in the 5th avenue in ‘Home Alone 2’. And the list is vast!

NYC always brilliantly comes alive for the holiday seasons. Get into the holiday season by exploring the ‘The City that never sleeps’, a phrase which was given for a specific reason. If you’re willing to stay up at night and enjoy the holidays spirit, you probably should head straight to the Times Square as it is considered the busiest place in NYC, containing more than 40 broadway theatres, enormous number of cafes, restaurants and hotels. It is a major center for entertainment and industry to which a many tourists flock to.

Photography in NYC has always been booming, and if you one day want your work featured, you should consider these amazing spots. NYC is the perfect city to take memorable pictures. I recommend you visit Times Square, The Vessel, Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo Street.

No visit to NYC will be complete without hitting at least one of its incredible list of museums that cover a variety of interests. Among the list of museums is The Metropolitan Museum for taste of art history or the Skyscraper Museum for architecture, and the list goes on..

Live music is also a grand source of enjoyment with a variety of concerts and shows featuring superstars and rising stars.

Dear New York, I will never get over you!!
