Exemptions for travel abroad for those who have not taken the vaccine against Covid-19 have been cancelled starting from Wednesday, Sept 1, 2021, except in two cases.

Informed sources told Al-Anba this step comes in implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers, which stipulates that permitting travel for non-vaccinated citizens should be limited to two cases only — the age groups not subjected to vaccination, that is, young people under 12 years old, and citizens who have obtained a certificate approved by the Ministry of Health stating that they could not be vaccinated for health reasons.

It is important to note that a previous decision allowed pregnant women who did not receive the vaccine to travel abroad.
