The government has agreed to allow domestic workers coming from the Philippines, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to go directly to the homes of their respective sponsors without the need for institutional quarantine or registering on the safety platform.

Government sources told Al-Anba the decision stipulates that the domestic workers holding Article 20 visa receive two doses of one of the approved vaccines in the country approved by the Ministry of Health.

This is in addition to a PCR test done 72 hours before arrival and another test during the first three days of one-week home quarantine and the home quarantine ends if the result is negative.
