The Ministry of Interior reiterated that the requirements for vehicles of companies delivering consumer goods will become effective as of October 1.

According to a statement issued by the Department of Relations and Security Media Monday, the requirements announced last August include that the driver of the delivery vehicle must have a health certificate issued by the Ministry of Health and company logo to which the delivery vehicle belongs, in coordination with the Kuwait Municipality, reports a local Arabic daily.

The conditions, according to ministry sources, also require the driver of the delivery vehicle must be sponsored by the same company in which he works, and wear the company uniform irrespective whether the delivery vehicle is a two or four-wheeler.

The Ministry of Interior has called on the owners of the companies concerned to abide by the instructions and regulating laws, noting that whoever violates these conditions will have his license suspended and legal action will be taken against him.
