Public Authority for Manpower is planning to launch its automated systems today (Wednesday). The new regulations, several changes, and different procedures are expected in the labor market, including the prohibition of the employment of women in law offices and entertainment places at night, the suspension of the file of any private company in which a government employee works Prior approval, Al Qabas reported.
In the new system, amendments were added, which included 16 articles, the most prominent of which was the prohibition of any procedure-related to employment or licenses and companies, in case there were recorded notes.
The regulations indicated that if a Kuwaiti wants to work in the private sector, and is registered with a government agency, he must submit a request to the PAM, including basic data, especially wages, occupations, and the time of work. Kuwaiti must obtain a permit from the government agency that shall be followed by the Ministry of Work for a period not exceeding one year, in the event of failure to do so will result in the suspension of the file.
