The Ministry of Health is currently working on developing the health system as it is setting out to launch various health centers in the country soon, including the Abu Fatira Health Center and a center in Sabah Al-Ahmad City. The Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, said that the current stage is considered a post-coronavirus pandemic period, indicating that officials are focusing on building and handling the establishment of the health system.

Al-Saeed also said, during the inauguration of the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak Health Center on Sunday, that health development projects are currently in the works, such as the Al-Sabah Hospital project, Al-Adan hospitals, and Al-Farwaniya, which gradually started receiving patients, noting that the new Farwaniya will be for citizens. He added that the next step is transferring patients from Al-Adan Hospital to Jaber Hospital in southern Surra, followed by the transfer of citizens from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital to Jaber Hospital.
