Kuwait detected 754 new cases of COVID­19, in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 65,903, with two people succumbing to the disease as the death toll reached 444.

The ICU has 125 COVID­19 cases and 8,992 are still receiving treatment, while the authorities conducted 4,059 tests in the past 24 hours, bringing total to 498,357 examinations, said ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al­Sanad.

He called on citizens and residents to continue to take all means of prevention and recommended visiting the accounts of the Ministry of Health as well as authorities in the state to review the instructions and recommendations to contain the spread. Earlier in the day, the ministry announced 786 recovered cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 56.467.
