The Ministry of Health has added new members to its committee addressing long-staying patients in hospitals. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mustafa Reda, issued an administrative decision regarding the committee organizing and following up the discharge of long-staying patients in government hospitals. These patients have completed their treatment period and have been authorized to leave.
Joining the committee are the head of the Friends of the Disabled team, Sheikha Suhaila Salem Al-Sabah, a representative of the Department for the Elderly, Dr. Ayman Sadad Al-Azizi, and the legal researcher in the Jahra area, Daifallah Ajeeb Al-Mufarrej.
