The Pakistani ambassador to Kuwait, HE Malik Farooq, said 180 Pakistani doctors and nurses have arrived in Kuwait. “This is the eighteenth batch of Pakistani doctors and nurses arriving in Kuwait,” he said. “This batch is part of the agreement signed between the governments of Pakistan and Kuwaiti,” he added.

The Al-Jarida daily quoted the ambassador as saying, “We know that during the current situation in Kuwait, especially after the Corona epidemic, there is a shortage of doctors and nurses, and I would like to thank the Kuwaiti government for its confidence in us, because we know that our doctors and nursing staff are very professional, and they have great experience, and Pakistan sends its best doctors from the best hospitals in Pakistan, and we are also very happy that the people of Pakistan offer their services to their friends and brothers in Kuwait.”
