The Public Anti-Corruption Authority ‘Nazaha’ announced in line with its efforts to combat corruption, ward off its dangers and effects, will prosecute the supervisor and others working in the Ministry of Information.
They will be referred to the Public Prosecution on charges of “committing crimes of forgery in official documents, which are punishable as per the text of Article No. 257 of Penal Code No. 16 of 1960, in the crime of appropriating and facilitating the appropriation of public funds, which is punishable as per Article No. 10 of Law No. 1 of 1993.
Nazaha affirmed, according to Al-Rai, that it continues to examine and collect evidence and investigations in all serious reports, and always appreciates the role of whistleblowers in exercising their role in helping the authority to access the necessary information and data on corruption incidents, at the same time committing itself to provide the utmost protection and confidentiality.
