The National Assembly announced during its meeting on Monday that it has decided to reject the renewal of term of all its expatriate advisors, as an implementation of the replacement policy. According to an Al-Rai Media report, the office of the parliament decided not to compensate the deputies for attending informal conferences or non-parliamentary events, as well as personal invitations.

The office of the parliament began discussing the reports of the committees concerned with investigating the appointments of leaders and employees during the dissolution of the National Assembly.

The Monday meeting was held under the chairmanship of National Assembly Speaker Ahmed Al-Saadoun, and the presence of the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Muhammad Al-Mutair, Secretary of the Council Representative Osama Al-Shaheen, Parliament Observer Deputy Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Kandari, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee Representative Shuaib Al-Muwaizri, and Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee Representative Muhannad Al-Sayer, as well as Abdullah Fahad Al-Enezi, Chairman of the Priorities Committee, and Adel Al-Loughani, Secretary General of the National Assembly.

In addition, meeting was also partially attended by members of the team tasked with reviewing several administrative decisions related to the General Secretariat of the National Assembly, namely Hamad Al-Olayan, Dr. Youssef Al-Dhafiri, Dr. Munira Al-Nimesh, and Hammoud Al-Hatem, as well as team coordinator, Nasser Al-Matani
