The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation plans to announce the names of the new officers in the oil sector after the Eid Al-Adha holidays, especially since the circumstances did not permit holding a meeting of the KPC board of directors during the last period.
Sources attributed the postponement of announcing the outcome of the trade-offs and the names of the senior officers of the so-called ‘second row’ in the oil sector until after Eid was necessitated by the travel of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil.
The sources pointed out that the coming period will witness changes in the KPC Board of Directors, in addition to updating the boards of directors of the oil subsidiaries within the framework of the new directions, and therefore there will be a review of many decisions and projects according to the vision of the new Minister of Oil, and what will be coordinated regarding it with the CEO of the Corporation.
The sources said: “The Petroleum Corporation has followed all legal and administrative procedures approved in accordance with the rules and regulations in nominations and evaluation of candidates for managerial posts, and there is an approved strategy that is being worked on and reviewed continuously.”
