A huge fire destroyed cars in the Al-Naeem Scrapyard at dawn today located off the Salmi Road. The Public Relations Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department stated the fire, on an area of approximately 1,000 square meters was put out by firefighting teams from Shaqaya, Jahra, Kazma and Al-Isnad.
The Al-Rai daily quoting fire sources said no injuries have been reported but the fire destroyed everything in its path. The cause of the fire is not known.
