Until further notice, no new licenses will be granted to build schools in the Sabah Al-Salem area according to an administrative circular which has been issued by the Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi.
In the circular, a local Arabic daily said, Al-Manfouhi has requested that all Municipality sectors and its departments stop granting regulatory approvals and building licenses of all kinds to schools in the Sabah Al-Salem area temporarily until all organizational studies are completed.
He called on everyone to abide by this decision and whoever violates it will be subject to legal accountability.
