The Kuwait Municipality teams during a campaign organized in cooperation with the Interior Ministry removed existing encroachments on state property, abandoned vehicles, and rubble from the suburb of Ashirj (Doha East Chalets – Industrial Area.
The campaign was organized at the request of Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs, Fahd Al-Shoula.
The campaign was headed by Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng. Saud Al-Dabbous, involving cleanliness, safety, and removals teams and personnel from the Ministry of the Interior.
The teams during three hours of non-stop work removed 29 heavy trucks, 17 boats of different sizes, and 6 chalets made of prefabricated material.
The municipality confirmed that the relevant teams will continue to comb the entire Ashirj area, and that a new campaign will be launched soon to remove all violations.
