The Municipal Council, headed by Osama Al-Otaibi, during its supplementary session Monday has approved a request of the Kuwait Automobile and Motorcycle Club to allocate for its use a site at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Circuit.

The Council has also approved the letter from the Environment Public Authority to allocate a site in Salmi for factories for recycling purpose and another request to change the use of part of the site designated for collecting damaged, used and spent tires in the Salmi area.

Meanwhile, the Council has referred the public cleanliness and waste transportation regulation draft to the Legal and Financial Committee, and approved the request of the Ministry of Finance to change the activity of the site belonging to the Kuwait United Poultry Company located in Dajeej.

The Council has also approved the request of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to allocate a site for a mosque in Mubarak Al-Kabeer area, block 2 and the request of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to convert the open car park area of the Central Market No. 1 to multi-storey car park in Sabah Al-Salem Block 9.
