The head of the Legal and Financial Committee in the Municipal Council, Fahid Al-Muwaizri, announced the approval of the car park shed regulations and amendments to Municipal Law 33 of 2016 and referred them to the Municipal Council.
Al-Muwaizri disclosed in a statement to Al-Qabas that after presiding over the committee’s meeting to discuss the list of car cark sheds, it was decided to exempt real estate in private housing areas from paying fees for car sheds and subsequently canceling paying the 30 dinars insurance fee, indicating that on investment and commercial buildings the government will impose a one-time fee of one dinar per square meter and it will be licensed through the competent department in the Municipality.
Al-Muwaizri added that the committee discussed Municipal Law 33 of 2016 and decided after the discussion to refer it to the Municipal Council for discussion in the main session.
