The Technical Committee of the Municipal Council rejected on Monday the draft advisory agreement for consultancy services to study, design and supervise the improvement of the Fourth Ring Road, an Arab daily reported.
The head of the committee, Dr. Hassan Kamal, stated that it did not agree to the advisory agreement to improve the function of the Fourth Ring Road, stressing that the study has insufficient data and lacked the flow of transportation, and that it also did not cover public transportation.
On the other hand, the Committee’s rapporteur, Nasser Al-Kif, pointed out that a specialized representative from the executive body did not attend to explain the advisory agreement, and to clarify how the Fourth Ring Road would be developed
