The Jahra Committee of the Municipal Council has approved the request of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, to allocate eight sites for the construction of power substation, in addition to allocating the site of a major power transfer station for the cow breeding project, milk production and green fodder cultivation areas in the Kabd region.
The committee also approved, during its meeting the request of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to allocate the site for the construction of a mosque in Abdali, block 1, and the request of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, and approved the height of the colleges and institutes complex buildings in the Jahra governorate comprising a ground floor and five floors, and the request of the Ministry Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and giving nod for ground cables in the agricultural area of Sulaibiya.
It also approved the request of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources to amend the agricultural holding status of an agricultural production company in the Sulaibiya agricultural area. It also approved the request of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to transfer the gas branch of the Naseem Cooperative Society to the area between the Naseem and the Jahra industrial area.
