The municipality plans to form a committee to set up a mechanism to study and update grazing temporary sites to be allocated on a periodic basis in the northern, southern, and central regions of the country which will come into effect after the spring camp season, however, no licenses will be issued in this regard, but the grazing will be free of charge, provided registration will be required on the platform which will be provided later.
An informed source told Al-Rai that “the mechanism will include controls, requirements, and procedures for determining grazing sites, preparing organizational plans, and providing the concerned authorities with them through a special program for registering sites designated for grazing,” stressing that the Municipality through this mechanism will contribute significantly to overcoming obstacles and identifying the needs of cattle grazers, and reducing the randomness of grazing, and its impact on services, roads, public utilities, and residential and vital areas.
