The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) has excluded expat workers from the excellent performance bonus this year, reports Al-Anba daily quoting an official source from the ministry.
The excluded expat workers are to be laid off according to the regulations of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
The source revealed that the ministry has removed around 300 expat employees from the initial excellent performance bonus statement, indicating the remaining expatriate workers will be terminated in April.
The ministry is expected to disburse the excellent performance bonus in May, after obtaining approval from its finance counterpart.
